So everyone knows that it’s pretty much braindead simple to “deploy” a PHP “app”. You cd somewhere under the DocumentRoot and type vi something.php, hit ‘i’, and start typing PHP. Later you hit escape, then ‘ZZ’, and open up the resulting URL in a web browser.
Contrast with deploying a Rails app; certainly not complex but too many steps to...
You know what bugs me?
Everyone’s a fucking expert on the iPad without ever having touched one.
Look you can have an opinion, I guess, but you’re basically talking out your ass if you’ve not used it. Get a hold of one, fondle it for an hour, THEN decide it’s an abject failure.
